Google Meet video chat

With JustRelate CRM appointments, a function button for Google Meet can be provided additionally.

This function requests the user to synchronize the appointment with the connected Google Calendar. After confirmation, the URL for joining is entered in the CRM appointment (Additional data tab), and the conference data is stored in the notes field of the appointment (HTML text with the URL and telephone dial-in).

Note: The system does not support a multi-connector configuration. For this reason, only a connector-compatible meeting link function makes sense (Exchange - MS Teams / Google - Google Meet).

Attention

Attention: For Google Meet, there is no possibility to create a neutral link for joining like it is possible for MS Teams, for example. The conference data can only be entered in the CRM appointment after the appointment has been synchronized. The synchronization can cause invitations to be sent out!

Requirements and access

  • Google synchronization must be configured for the user via the Google Groupware interface (Administration/Contacts/Groupware Users). Only then, the button will work.
  • An appointment must have been synchronized with Google already to be able to generate the link.
  • The user must be assigned to the Google access profile. Only this assignment will additionally show the button.
