- When creating activities, you sometimes create other contact relationships in addition to the initial contact for which you are creating the activity. If you change or delete contacts, only the relationship between the contact and the activity is changed. However, if you delete all contacts of the activity, the task itself is correctly deleted, as it may lose its necessity without a target contact.
- If this is the case, it will be brought to your attention by the message “Should the activity that is not referenced to a contact any longer be deleted?”. Confirming with Yes causes the activity to be deleted. If you select No, the record remains without a target contact in the activity management.
This functionality also applies when creating an activity using the input forms that can be opened via the functions for new activities in the toolbar of the initial form.
- If you delete the assignment of an activity from an assignment list of a master record, only the assignment is deleted at first. The system then checks whether there are further references to the activity. If none are found, JustRelate CRM offers to also delete the activity itself from the database.
