Activities and tasks

Activities are tasks or events that are usually carried out for contacts, customers or distribution cases, and can be cross-team. Activities are on the one hand specified work routines of a process, which should always be performed in a given order (standard activities), e.g., creating a case or a contact (standard activities). On the other hand, activities are also all tasks that are not subject to a fixed procedure, but are important for case or contact management, like birthdays, reservations, or correspondence appointments.

General workflow and activity status

Activities are usually tasks and actions that are assigned to specific objects, e.g. an appointment with a contact or a letter to a contact. There are also personal activities that are not assigned to a specific record, but shape the personal workflow.

After starting the JustRelate CRM system, your personal Entry Portal is displayed, in which all your open activities such as upcoming deadlines, assignments and correspondences are indicated. From there, you can switch in an instance to the respective form or create activities for yourself.

Activity management supports substitute arrangements, delegating and supervising activities. Activities are categorized under various statuses that quickly indicate the weighting the activity or task has, or which actions are required.

The supervision of activities can be monitored using date fields, reminders and due date rules. All modules let you work with activities that can be created at the form concerned, and are accessible there in the Activities tab. Sales team members can assign activities to a case, a contact, or a distribution process.

Case assignment (context)

Note: Create activities always directly for the cases, contacts, etc. All information that was entered there is displayed in the All activities list and can be managed there. You can also work directly in the form of the respective Activity, but then you need to explicitly create the relation to cases and contacts. PisaSales will then always verify the case assignment.
