Emails as activities

You can create an ordinary individual email or an email to multiple recipients that contains all addressees in the header (one email with a mailing list).

As email recipients, you can also enter persons not present in the CRM. For this, enter an email address in the To-, CC- or BCC field. If the email address entered belongs to a JustRelate CRM contact, this contact is assigned to the field. If the string is some other valid email address, it is considered a recipient address.

To select the second email address of a contact stored in the CRM (email 2), click the small gray arrow in the To, CC, or BCC field, and in the dialog that opens, use the pull-down menu. Then select the corresponding checkbox.

Note: If you do not want to have a mailing list in the email, a serial mail is required. This generates several individual messages in which each recipient is addressed personally, and no mailing list appears in the header. See also:  Series correspondences in marketing

Behavior when creating an email from a sales case or a marketing action

The Project field in the email is automatically preset with the source case. The recipient field (To) remains empty because the recipient cannot be determined unambiguously. The text of the default template is therefore not automatically copied into the edit field. First select the recipients (the contacts in the case are preselected), then apply the template (Use template).

Attention

Attention: The recipient selection adopts all external and internal contacts of the object (sales case or marketing action). If you have a large number of contacts, it may take some time for the selection dialog to fill up.

Teams as email recipients

With JustRelate CRM, teams (manageable via Sales/Backoffice/Teams) may have an email address (e.g., support@pisasales.de). When assigning a team as an email recipient or sender, the team is not broken down into the individual team members if the team has an email address.
