Group mailboxes (Team boxes)

Group mailboxes are represented via teams. The server groupware configuration is also available in the team form. If the Exchange mailbox of the team is set up, then the groupware user is also automatically created when the configuration is created (default). When the groupware configuration is created or saved, the system automatically checks whether the Exchange server can communicate based on the settings that have been made.

You can show and hide group mailboxes and thus also the emails of the these mailboxes to be displayed (similar to calendar groups). Being able to select multiple mailboxes for viewing allows you to have emails from multi­ple mailboxes displayed, sorted by time. E-mails from the provided group mailboxes are automatically marked in the color of the group mailbox, similar to calendar groups.

The "Send as" attribute (flag) of the team members can only be set by the contact administrator and team responsible). Only when Replying to emails from the group mailbox (not when forwarding), the user’s email address is automatically replaced with the group mailbox address of the team, provided that the logged-in user is permitted to do this.

In this tab, you can see the members who can select this group mailbox in the CRM mailbox.

In the server groupware configuration (at the team form), the team "responsible" can specify by means of a check­box

• whether emails from the Exchange inbox are automatically synchronized,
• whether only the "Pisa­Sales" folder in Exchange should be synchronized,
• both,
• or neither.

In the latter case, emails can be imported only manually, i.e., checked in with a click.

In the server groupware configuration (My data), you can see as a team member (read-only)

• in which group mailboxes you are integrated,
• whether you are allowed to send emails on behalf of the team,
• whether the emails in these group mailboxes are imported automatically (flag),
• which email address is used as the sender for these mailboxes.
