Editing data means creating records in forms, duplicating, editing field content, or deleting records, and saving the changes in the database afterwards. JustRelate CRM offers the Insert, Copy, Copy with structure and Delete standard commands for this in the toolbar and in the object menu. There is no explicit mode for editing, because a simple click on a field is sufficient to start editing the field contents.
Any change to records that was made using the standard commands in the mask – with the exception of Delete – must be confirmed and be written to the database with the Save command. Cancel restores the original state in the mask again and prevents the changes from being stored in the database.
