With Echobot, information about companies and employees can be found on the Internet. JustRelate CRM has an optional Echobot integration. The interface offers the possibility to retrieve this information from the company, displaying it embedded in the CRM, and transferring certain information, such as company and employee data, to the CRM in a controlled manner. When importing company and personal data, the powerful duplicate check prevents duplicates from being created. The Echobot service used is called “Echobot CONNECT”.
Echobot will open in the Windows client in a new browser window. It is not possible to synchronize company or employee data with the Windows client.
A cockpit element, “Echobot search”, is available under the category “Other”. Here you can search for company names. The Echobot result is displayed in a new browser window.
JustRelate sells the Echobot interface and handles its maintenance. The required Echobot user licenses for the product (Echobot CONNECT) can be purchased from Echobot. This is a subscription-based model with a specific number of calls per month.
On the Echobot website, two synchronization links must be entered in the account settings (Settings/Account settings/ntegrations). Via these links, Echobot informs a CRM server component that the user has performed actions in the Echobot window (e.g. the synchronization functions).
https://<host>:<port>/echobot/companyhttps://<host>:<port>/echobot/contactsThe CRM server in your company must be accessible remotely via HTTPS.
Tip: An easy option is to activate REST in the CRM (property psc.rst). Ideally, a proxy (NGINX) is used to forward from https to http. This avoids the problem with a valid certificate.
There is a test method in the Echobot interface you can run via your browser:https://<host>:<port>/echobot/test.
