Contact import tool

The integrated contact import tool lets you easily import contact data, (companies, contact persons) from Excel spreadsheets and CSV files. The marketing staff particularly benefits from it. You can efficiently import Excel contact lists with any structure, e.g., those that are provided by address service compa­nies (Hoppenstedt, stack, …) or by fair teams.

A few functions and options

  • Interactive assignment (mapping) of Excel columns to the CRM fields
  • Assignment settings can be saved and reused.
  • Treatment and correction of the imported data in a JustRelate CRM import table as a cache
  • Reset of the import (cancel changes)
  • Refresh and merge records (e.g. assignment of the imported contact person to an already existing com­pany)
  • Management and grouping of the imported data in ad hoc-lists

Opening the import form

The import form can be opened as follows:

  • By non-administrators from the menu Extras/Contact import
  • By administrators additionally from the Administration/Data exchange/Tools/Contact import menu where the Contact import mapping list can be opened as well.

In the import form, the following functions are available:

  • Read
  • Select Mapping
  • Import
  • Delete import table
