Email messages can be displayed as conversations in the CRM. When replying and forwarding, the system supplies the mail headers “Reply-To” and “References” with the mail ID of the original e-mail from the direct dispatch with the CRM via the connected mail server. This way, conversations can be displayed, and checked in emails can be automatically linked to projects.
Messages with the same subject and which are responded to with "Reply" are considered a conversation. You can quickly check and edit individual messages or entire conversations.
The display of an email "conversation" can be found in the Conversation tab of the email. In this tab, the outgoing emails (blue) are displayed in the list on the left and the text of the selected email on the right. In the detail form of the conversation, attachments and follow-up activities are displayed in multiple lines, just like in the mailbox.
In the activity sub-lists (e.g. of a contact), you can recognize conversations if you select the type "... Correspondences or "Customer communication" in the quick filter and then select the e-mail in the list or in the tree. You will then see a preview of the e-mail in the right-hand detail form. If this is part of a conversation, the Conversation button in the detail form is active and you can open the conversation in a modal window.
