Collecting query conditions

You can, so to speak, collect fields and their query conditions by clicking in a list, check, delete and edit them. The field selection can be accessed via the Field ... button as a field tree containing all fields of the mask, including the known node (1:1, 1:n). The presentation and usage of the 1:n node conforms to the user's level that can be set in the filter form.

Finding quickly in the field choice

You do not need to scroll in the field tree. If you know the field names, then you can simply search for it in the search bar of the Field choice.

The Field choice offers all fields of the driving data class of the mask, including the internal system fields such as the creation date or the most recent date of change of a record, or the address (extended) for the zip code.

Fully visibly and editable fields with query conditions

The complete query condition is presented in the form of rows per field, linked with “and” or “or”, and also bracketed (list of query conditions).

  • Filter conditions can be combined with “and” or “or” with one click.
  • By bracketing search conditions with a click, a different search logic can be created for identical entries in the field list. If, for example, an OR group is formed with brackets, which is then combined with an “and” expression, the filter takes on a completely different function with just two clicks. Several “or” groups are even possible with several fields.
  • An open bracket is closed automatically at the end of the statement when "updating" (context menu) the search list . A surplus closing bracket is deleted. Also, with two opening brackets, all brackets are automatically closed at the end of the statement.
