Changes to the series definition (e.g. moving or deleting created activities) always affect the entire series, e.g.:
- The start date of the series definition (dialog) contains the date of the activity generated last. This allows moving an already created activity (changing the date of the activity), and the next activity in the series will be generated in the correct interval. In addition, a created series can be moved by changing it time window.
- If the next activity is only created after an activity is completed, and only the initial activity exists, then the start of the activity is changed when the series start is changed.
- If activities are to be deleted due to a series change (for example, the series duration or interval is reduced), then only open activities are affected. If you don’t delete the activities (after the prompt), only the reference to the series is deleted.
- If all activities have already been created, a change to the series definition causes the system to attempt to adjust the start date of open activities accordingly.
