Plugin management for the service - CRM App

The functionality of the CRM service app can be extended using plugins. Plugins are apps for special use cases, which – depending on the configuration – can either be executed autonomously or from the respective JustRelate CRM App.

Among other things, the CRM offers a plugin for service responses.

An administrator can manage the apps via Administration/Tools/App plugin administration, where the list of plugins is displayed. A plugin is provided as a Zip file by the CRM development, and must be checked in (Check in).

Column Ident

Needs to match the provided data loader (XML loader definition), e.g. PSA_UTT_JSN_EXP vs. CSO_UTT_JSN_EXP (standard vs. customizations).

Column Version

Automatically set during plugin import. It is always compared with the version on the device. If the version in the enterprise system is greater, the device reloads the plugin.

Column Valid

Determines whether the plugin is loaded from the mobile device after login. For a user to be able to run the plugin, a (named user) license must exist.

Column plugin.bld

Date of the plugin version. The information is coded in the plugin. Further information can be determined using the "Plugin info" select function.

Function Print JSON

Writes the plugin data of all valid plugins to the message bar. Exactly these are also transferred to the mobile device.

The "Service response" plugin (PSA_UTT_JSN_EXP) contains 3 modules that cannot be installed separately. They are required by the field service for a complete response and are called one after the other or when needed.

  • Time recording
  • Feedback
  • Product database

The configuration lets you define the data to be transferred to the mobile device after the first login and made available offline in the app afterwards.
