First aid and trouble shooting

Authorization, incorrect password input, auto login

If a user has entered their password incorrectly three times, they will be rejected by the PiSA cubes user administration on the server side. You can delete the failed attempts in the user administration, after which the user can log in again.

Further information can be found in the section Maintaining internal users.

Set a new password

  1. Select Administration/Contacts/User administration from the menu.
  2. Find the record of the user concerned.
  3. Use the Set new password function to enable the user to log in again.

Delete password history

  1. Select Administration/Contacts/User administration from the menu.
  2. If needed, delete the Password history to reset failed login attempts.

The user should now log in again with their login name. The system now prompts the user to enter a new password. In the menu Sales / My data, a new password can be set later using the Change password function.

Autologin

After startup, the CRM client first checks if the passed-in username matches the current system username (current user account) on the client computer. The validation of the user account by the client is influenced by the autologin setting in the client setup:

  •    Only domain users are allowed for automatic login - or
  •    domain and local users are allowed for automatic login.

After that, the client transmits its information to the server. The server decides on the basis of the auto-login flag in the employee administration (menu Administration/Contacts/Internal staff) whether a password check for the user is necessary on the server side or not. If all requirements are met (correct password provided or auto-login flag = ON), the login dialog will be hidden.
