Multiple selection

Multiple-selection dialogs correspond to the specific relation being created (contacts, cases, or documents). You can create new records with the desired relation from the selection dialog or directly in a module form. New entries are always inserted at the start of the right list, ensuring visibility even in a full list.

For document selection dialogs, a paper clip button allows checking in local documents, automatically creating a document record and associating it with the relation. The Archived button displays only archived documents, and additional filters are available in the Filter field's select menu.

Comfortable contact assignment with role allocation

Contact assignments include maintaining roles in projects, attendee roles in appointments, or positions in enterprises. In multiple selection, roles or positions can be chosen from a dropdown menu when pressing the Add button. The right destination list displays Role or Position columns for review and corrections.

This extended assignment is available in all selection dialogs for project contacts, contact contacts, and activity contact relations with editable relation fields (role, position).

Info

Admin: The pop-up menu is opened via the value buffer key PSA_SEL_MCH_ADD_REC when pressing the Add button.

Note: With new appointments, the main participant is registered in the master form and is usually not maintained using the contact selection in the attendee list. For them, the role assignment is not available in the single selection dialog. For this reason, the main participant receives a default role if they are added in the master form. It can be controlled separately for persons and companies with the variable PSA_APM_DFV_CON_RUL_IDN. In the standard, the default role for persons is "necessary attendee". For companies, no role is set.
