Quick search using the filter form

You can use the filter form at any time for a search without saving the filter under a name. The search result can be determined in the background, and the filter form can be closed after the search. If you want to use the filter again for a search, you can store it under a name, including a description.

According to the user level, the filter form allows only limited or advanced search options. See Functions and user levels for details.

If an empty filter is opened at a form (in the filter selection, No filter is selected), then the filter applies the search conditions from the current mask (Quickfinder), if they already exist. This way, the filter can be put together based on the search conditions already present. This is especially convenient if the Quickfinder pres­ents too many results and the maximum number of results needs to be increased. In this case, open an empty fil­ter at the form (pulldown at the funnel icon, Filter), and only enter the Maximum number. The search condition of the filter is already set.
