You can store all documents that are located on the local system in the database by dragging and dropping them into the corresponding form. A data record with the name of the file is automatically created, and the local document is checked in.
Document links and relations (company ⇄ documents, or quotes ⇄ documents) can be simply created via drag and drop onto the form header. The relations are also created if the document sublist is "locked", i.e., if a Quickfilter (e.g., " explosion …" or "with attachments ...") is active.
When dragging and dropping onto a "locked" sublist, a corresponding message is presented, if the parent record is a "valid" destination.
Once the data record has been created, you can customize it if required. When dragging and dropping from local systems, the Subject of the document data record automatically becomes the file name including extension.
