Context functions

After right-clicking an activity, various commands are available to you. Among other things, you can edit its attributes or create follow-up activities, directly via the Entry Portal.

Note: Commands that open a record or display an object are usually opened in the JustRelate CRM browser instance (in the background) without changing the activity.

Next to using standard functions, you can create new contacts, activities, service notifications, etc., directly from within the Entry Portal. Via the Edit activity context function, you have quick access to selected attributes of the activity.

Please note that some functions only work in the context of a specific activity that needs to be selected first.

Examples

  • Call: Initiates a call if the activity has a "For contact", and if CTI is configured.
  • Show in Map: Displays the location of the appointment in a map (Google Maps) if the activity is an appointment with a location.
Attention

Attention: The standard function Delete irrevocably removes the marked activities as well as all their follow-ups.

Context functions in the detail form

If an entry is selected in the list, you can see the content or details of the activity on the right, where you can quickly create follow-up activities (three vertical dots next to the subject) or perform object-specific functions, such as replying to or forwarding the email.
