Configuring your preferences

In this documentation, you can find numerous hints about settings and configuration options of JustRelate CRM. In the My data form, personal configuration options are available in the Configuration menu in the function bar.

In particular, the option to customize environment variables under My preferences helps you to adapt the system to your needs.

Wherever this documentation refers to user-specific variables and values, you can check whether you need individual settings.

Attention

Attention: When dealing with variables, you should always consider what effects their values have on the system. Incorrectly set variables can affect the system as a whole. Your administrator will be happy to support you if you want to change or adjust variables.

Setting user-specific environment variables

Own company (My company)

Here, the data of your company with all contacts, staff members and departments, as well as activities and assignments can be managed. The company details are already entered by the administrator when the company is created. As a user, you can see information relevant to the company, and may have (possibly limited) write permission to correct data or enter further information. The information in the Activities tab is dynamically taken from the activities of the internal staff members.

Under Additional data you can find, next to the contact relations to other companies and persons, also a structure tree view of superordinate and subordinate companies within your company.

The My company form offers evaluations of the ABC analysis on the basis of the turnover calculation of all orders and analyses within the scope of the graphic sales analysis.

Devices

Device-specific setting whether push messages should be sent to the device, and also the individual start dialog on this device. In this list, all the devices by means of which you log in are automatically captured. The entry is persisted until the user removes it again. If it can be determined, additional information (model, platform and version) is entered for mobile devices.

Info

Admin: An overview and control of the settings is available and possible via Administrator/Contacts/Push notifications/Configuration or Devices.

Setting the start mask

As a default, the CRM starts by calling the "Cockpit" dialog object.

Access mask for records

As a user, you can find the Device configuration function in the function bar. Here, you can set several of the offered objects as start masks (comma-separated) for the client you are using, e.g. the Web Client. Note that if selected, the Calendar and the Entry Portal will start in their own browser window.

Info

Admin: The start masks the user can select can be specified in the Administration/Tools/Start masks list. Here, the start masks for the various devices on which the client is run can be managed.

When the user sets a start dialog, the user-specific variable PSC_INI_DLG is set.
