Maintaining price lists
An administrator can create price lists and assign them to customers. A price list contains an assignment of articles with attributes for new sales costs, manufacturing costs, material costs, and discounts. Price lists have a validity date and can be versioned.
As an administrator, you can attach one or several price lists to a customer (company). The price list assignment can automatically be copied from the customer to the project/sales case. Thus, when creating a case, the accompanying price list is attached to the case. Using the user specific environment variable PSA_SET_PLI_CLC, you can specify which users can use the automatic assignment of price lists set for a customer when they create a sales case concerning this customer.
The price lists that are assigned from the customer to the case are displayed in the Configuration subform, tab Price lists of the quote. Here, price lists can later still be manually modified and positioned.
Note: If several price lists are attached to a customer, only the price list in first position is always used for the calculation. You can change the priority for several price lists by moving (overwrite) the position number in the Price list tab.
Adapting price lists
JustRelate CRM offers a mass change function to be able to adapt price lists quickly.
For this, the Factor material costs and Factor manufacturing costs columns are available in the Products/services tab of the Price list form. The columns have a blue background and can be maintained directly in the list. The factor is stated as an extra charge in %.
The Apply factors function (in the function bar) calculates - in each case separately for material costs and manufacturing costs - from the "neutral costs" and the factor in % the extra charge, raises the neutral costs by this extra charge and writes the result to the Agreed costs fields.
Versioning of price lists
In addition, the versioning of price lists is supported. If a new version is created by the standard command, Duplicate or Duplicate structure, in the Price list form, the system also asks whether the old price list should be invalidated. Depending on the answer, the valid until, valid from, Number, Version and Status fields are set automatically. When the record structure is also duplicated, the assignments to companies are not duplicated.
The Price list status list (Administration/Products/Price list status) makes the functionalities (valid, invalid) available that come into action when versioning price lists.
