Just like external contacts, internal contacts have a status:
- active
- inactive
- banned
- retired
As opposed to external contacts, the contact records of internal contacts (internal employees as users) are linked to a login for the CRM system. Changes to the status of internal contacts therefore also affect their access to the CRM system.
The status of internal contacts is usually changed by an administrator, as this implies restrictions for the user. The status of an internal contact can be changed in the user administration, but also via the contact form of the internal contact. Non-administrators cannot change the status.
The status change of an internal contact from "active" to, e.g., "inactive" includes the change of the maturity from OPN to DON, and the font color changes to red.
