Protection of records

Access protection of records is ensured by the access control of the PiSA cubes base system. It is possible to define account policies for single users or groups directly for a record using access protection. This is generally limited to the owner of the record.

Access protection for records allows you to define access restrictions for developer groups on meta records as well as access restrictions for final user groups to production records. The access list can be interactively generated by the record owner via the general record-access form (standard padlock command in the toolbar) by sorting the group IDs from the group list into the permission lists.

Info

Admin: Via the PSA_CST_ACC_GRP_DLG environment variable, the customizer is able to display the record access mask for the normal end user without the negative list. This makes it easier to manage simple access to records

After expanding a first-level node for the first time, the list of children can already be restricted using the search bar. However, it is not sufficient to focus on the parent to search in the list of children.

The search bar serves to restrict a sublist of the second level of the group tree. If you select a node of the second level, e.g., a child of "Employees" or "Profiles", the search bar refers to all siblings of the node selected there. A tooltip at the search input field indicates this: "Mark a son to search in their list".
