Presentation of the competitive situation

The competitive situation is based on the view on projects or sales cases. Here it is possible to view sales cases according to assigned project roles from the relation between the company and sales: competitor wins the case; competitor loses against us; competitor loses against a third party.

Projects won or lost against a competitor

Presentation of all cases of a selected competitor in a specified period of time, presented in three lists:

A) List of all cases won against the competitor, including the title and time of the order, expected revenue, other competitors.

B) List of all cases won by the competitor, including the title and time of the order, expected revenue, reason for the loss, other competitors.

C) List of all cases the selected competitor and your own company have lost against a third party, including the title and time of the order, expected revenue, other competitors.

The analyses refer to the role of the competitor in the case:

  • A – The competitor has lost the project against us (the role can only be set at the order),
  • B – the competitor has won the project (the role can only be set at the businesses opportunity and quotes),
  • C – the competitor has lost against a third party (the role can only be set at business opportunities and quotes).

Projects won or lost against n top competitors

The analysis generates the lists A, B, and C several times for n top competitors. The lists are ordered by the competitors' strength. The top competitors result from the number of cases your own company has lost against these competitors. The more cases your own company has lost against a competitor, the higher the competitor strength. For the report, you can set the number n of the top competitors.
