Sending serial emails to many contacts

Sending series emails (as described above) from within the CRM to a large number of contacts can result in a very high volume of emails on the mail server. JustRelate CRM offers helpful features and functions when creating and sending serial emails with a very large number of recipients.

• Functions for contact segmentation in the marketing process (telemarketing, publication, event) are performance optimized and designed to be automatically executed (asynchronously) in the background if the number of recipients exceeds a specific value.

This means:

• Very fast assignment of contacts.
• No interference when working with the system in parallel while the function is being executed.
• The user is notified when the function is triggered and when it is completed.

• The function "Series email with contacts" at the marketing processes (function menu / further func­tions) creates a series email with all external contacts as recipients and is executed in the background if the number of contacts to be handled exceeds a specific value. In the CRM standard, this is 100 contacts.

The email activity record is locked during email creation and contact transfer. Therefore, it cannot be changed or deleted during this time.

After the serial email has been created in the background, you can open it, e.g. via the hyperlink from the notification, and you can further qualify it, i.e., for example: 

• Adjust subject
• Add attachments
• Select email template
• Check for errors
• Send test email

The serial email function "Send directly", which is executed in the background, informs you via the message function when the email dispatch is completed.
