You can replace product and service classes with specific positions and their characteristics. As an administrator, you use the Product/service classes form, and work directly on the product development level. Users work on the production level, i.e., provided that they are permitted to do so, they can only view product classes or replace them with predefined characteristics through the case/product relation (scope of supply).

Note: Managing product and service classes requires knowledge of the structure of products and services, about the use of classes as placeholders for case-specific positions, as well as about locking mechanisms for the product configuration.
Admin: Your administrator or customizer can import product and service classes for registering product master data, and can also create sectors (product or service lines).
