At companies, persons, contact overview lists, and in the radius search, the Apply in ad hoc-list function is available. It allows you to assign contacts to an ad hoc-list, or to create a new ad-hoc list to which the selected contacts are then added. At the ad-hoc list, you can further qualify the contact list using functions from the subdialog (list), by means of individual filters, or by set operations.

Note: If no contacts are marked, all contacts from the object are accepted.

Also for marketing actions (telemarketing, event, publication), the Get from ad hoc list function is availĀable in the Attendees tab. It allows you to select an ad-hoc list and add its contacts to the marketing action.
Tips
In ad-hoc lists, maintain the Keyword field with meaningful designations.
Maintain the Note field by adding to it all information on how you carried out the selection, which filters you used, or how you adapted them. This will help you later to underĀstand how the lists were created.
First, collect all contacts in the Contacts list. Already in this step, you can use sorting and filter options for compression.
The contact types you want to see can be set using the View quick filter. Condense the single lists further.
When using drag and drop, duplicate entries can quickly occur. Check the lists regularly for "duplicates" using the Show multiple assignments function. It is only available when working on the list.
In ad hoc lists, contact numbers and account managers can be used. This enables an account manager to search for the contacts he or she is responsible for in order to maintain or extend them, e.g. during a Christmas promotion, or to add a note.
The notes for a contact are transferred from an ad-hoc list to a mailing list (and vice versa) when the contact data is transferred. This enables an agent to route information from an ad-hoc list to a mailing list for follow-up processes (for example, for sending Christmas cards).
