Releasing a planning
Only yellow mission appointments can be released.
- A mission with resources (yellow) can be released at the top of the activity list directly in the mission bar using the Release context menu. Afterwards, the bar becomes green.
- If all missions with resources should be released, please close the resource planning and answer the corresponding question with “Yes” .
Note: Green missions can be reset individually to the planning status using the Reset release context menu.
What happens when an appointment is released?
The release level of the appointment is set to Released, and as a result, the activity appears in the Entry portal of the assigned resources (Responsible - Main initiator, Attendee - Necessary attendee). The appointment status is not changed.
The appointment is now read-only, i.e., no times or resources can be changed, only resetting the release is possible.
The release refreshes the data in the assigned service order. The operation time span From ... Until is overwritten. The assigned resources are placed into the personnel list of the order with the Service technicians role if they do not yet exist there. Service technicians that are not assigned to the activity are removed from the personnel list. The status of the order changes to planned.
If there are several appointments for the order, the following logic applies:
Several appointments for an order
Prior to updating the order data, the system determines all released and not yet finished (STAT=OPN) mission appointments of the order. Internally, an appointment list containing the appointment to be released and the found ones is formed.
The mission’s time span results from the earliest start date and the latest end date of the appointment list.
The service technicians not assigned to the appointment list as a resource are deleted from the personnel list of the order.

Resetting the release
Using the Reset release context menu, you can reset the release level of an activity to Resources assigned. The activity is then deleted from the Entry portal of the assigned resources. The data in the order is not updated.
