Neoletter overview

Short description

Neoletter is JustRelate’s cloud-based email marketing solution that supports your organization with getting into and staying in contact with your target groups. Neoletter is offered as an optional service subject to licensing and can be provided with data from the CRM via an interface. Thus, always up-to-date customer data from the CRM system is directly usable in your email campaigns. At the click of a button, the contact data selected for a serial email can be transmitted to Neoletter which can be easily set up as an external mailing system in JustRelate CRM.

Using the integrated template designer, attractive content for your mailings can be composed in a WYSIWYG fashion. After dispatching a serial email, the mailing text as well as response data from the recipients can be made available in JustRelate CRM by importing them. Delivery failures and any cancelled subscriptions are also imported into the CRM system and can be taken account of with future mailings.

Neoletter as an email application

All that needs to be done in the CRM for an external mailing, is to prepare the administrative data of a serial email including the recipients in the form of a recipient list. Afterwards, you can pass the serial email to Neoletter where it can be finalized and dispatched. The data passed to Neoletter include a reference to an already existing Neoletter mailing template. After dispatch, the response data from Neoletter is imported to the CRM and made available in the serial email and further objects.

Prerequisites

Neoletter requires no installation, is thus maintenance-free and technically always up to date, and can be used with an internet browser. All resources are made available by the JustRelate Group, and are hosted at Amazon Web Services (AWS). For working with the email system, you require Neoletter access.

The interface between Neoletter and JustRelate CRM is a REST API and requires version 8.1 or later.

In JustRelate CRM, the following work is required:

  • Adapting the server properties file,
  • registering and managing the Neoletter templates in the CRM,
  • maintaining a field mapping table.

Additionally, the sender email addresses need to be registered with AWS for spam protection and traceability purposes.
