Deriving appointments

From a field appointment, a new one can be derived to which you can then assign a different resource. Consider the following scenarios:

  1. A field appointment is already in progress or completed, but the order could not be finalized, and now an additional appointment must follow.
  2. During planning, you notice that further resources are needed at different times within the planning period.

Dragging and dropping a service appointment from the top list down to the time unit of a resource causes a query to be issued: "Do you want to create a new service action appointment as follow-up appointment (yes / no)?"

“Yes” causes a copy of the service appointment to be created in the selected unit of time, retaining all the links except resources. Assigning a new resource and setting the new start and end time creates a second appointment. The source appointment is not changed.
