From a field appointment, a new one can be derived to which you can then assign a different resource. Consider the following scenarios:
- A field appointment is already in progress or completed, but the order could not be finalized, and now an additional appointment must follow.
- During planning, you notice that further resources are needed at different times within the planning period.
Dragging and dropping a service appointment from the top list down to the time unit of a resource causes a query to be issued: "Do you want to create a new service action appointment as follow-up appointment (yes / no)?"
“Yes” causes a copy of the service appointment to be created in the selected unit of time, retaining all the links except resources. Assigning a new resource and setting the new start and end time creates a second appointment. The source appointment is not changed.
